Clove Essential Oil

Deep, spiced, and quietly warming — pure clove bud essential oil, prepared in small batches in Waxhaw, North Carolina.

Clove is the deepest note in our fall lineup: rich, a little smoky, with a warm bite that settles into a room the way woodsmoke settles into a sweater. A few drops go a long way.

Why clove?

Clove has been used to scent homes and mark the turning of the season for centuries. It's warm without being sweet and spicy without being sharp, which makes it the anchor note in almost every good fall blend. On its own it's bold and grounding; paired with sweet orange it becomes the classic pomander scent of late autumn.

A few ways to use it:

• Add one or two drops to a diffuser — clove is strong, so start light
• Blend with a carrier oil for a warming personal or massage oil
• Combine with sweet orange, cinnamon, or cedar for your own fall blend
• Add to a homemade room or linen spray
• Add a drop to a simmer pot with orange peel and water

What's in it:

• 100% pure clove bud (Syzygium aromaticum) essential oil, from farm-grown buds

A note on safe use: clove bud oil is potent and can irritate skin. Always dilute well with a carrier oil before any skin contact, keep away from eyes, and store out of reach of children and pets.
