About Us
Why We Started
Walk down the home fragrance aisle and read a label. You won't find one.
Almost everything sold to make a home smell good is built on synthetic fragrance — manufactured anonymously, formulated to imitate plants that were never in the bottle, and listed as a single word: fragrance. You bring it home, you spray it in the room where you sleep, and you have no way of knowing what's in it.
We started Carolina Rooted because that never sat right with us.
People are careful about what they eat. They read ingredient lists, they buy from farmers they can name, they ask where things come from. But the air in the room — the thing you're breathing all day, in the space where you rest — gets almost no scrutiny at all. We thought your home deserved the same honesty as your kitchen.
So we grew the answer ourselves.
What That Actually Means
We make our products on a working regenerative farm in Waxhaw, North Carolina. The botanicals in them grow in real soil.
When they're ready, we begin preparation right away. Slow, small-batch processes that pull out everything the plant has to give. No synthetic fragrance. No mystery ingredients. No fillers, no preservatives.
Every room spray, every bundle of incense, every bottle of oil is made in small batches and looked over personally before it ships.
That's the difference you can smell the moment you open a bottle. It's alive in a way sourced, mass-produced ingredients simply aren't.
One More Thing
Our customers tell us the products are why they came and the service is why they stayed. We reach out about a shipping problem before you notice it. We replace things without being asked. We answer our own messages.
That isn't a policy. It's a small farm treating people like neighbors, because that's what you are.
Thank you for being here. It means everything to us.
Rooted in Nature. Crafted in the Carolinas.
