Incense Sampler Giveaway — Official Rules

1. Sponsor

This giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is sponsored by Carolina Rooted, Waxhaw, North Carolina (“Sponsor”). The Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc., Facebook, or Instagram.

2. Eligibility

The Giveaway is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Sponsor and their immediate family members and household members are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.

3. Entry Period

The Giveaway begins at 12:00 AM ET on August 14, 2026 and ends at 11:59 PM ET on September 15, 2026 (the “Entry Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Giveaway.

4. How to Enter

Online entry: During the Entry Period, visit the Giveaway page and submit the entry form with a valid email address. Submitting the form enrolls you in the Carolina Rooted email list and constitutes one (1) entry.

Limit: One (1) entry per person and per email address for the Entry Period. Entries that are incomplete, use false information, or are generated by script, macro, or automated means are void.

Alternate method of entry (no email sign-up required): To enter without joining the email list, hand-print your full name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and date of birth on a 3″x5″ card and mail it in an envelope to: Carolina Rooted, Incense Sampler Giveaway, Waxhaw, NC. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by September 15, 2026 and received by September 22, 2026. Limit one mail-in entry per person. Mail-in entrants will not be added to the email list.

5. Prize

One (1) winner will receive one (1) Carolina Rooted 100-count Incense Sampler, including free standard shipping within the United States. Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $37.99 USD. The prize is non-transferable, and no cash or other substitution is permitted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

One (1) winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period, on or about September 17, 2026. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. The winner will be notified by email at the address provided within seven (7) days of the drawing. If the winner does not respond within five (5) days of notification, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected at random, time permitting.

7. Taxes

Any and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes on the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

8. Publicity

Except where prohibited, participation in the Giveaway constitutes the winner’s consent to Sponsor’s use of the winner’s first name and city/state for promotional purposes without further compensation.

9. Privacy

Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at carolinarooted.com. By entering online, you agree to receive marketing email from Carolina Rooted; you may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. Unsubscribing does not remove a valid entry already submitted during the Entry Period.

10. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Giveaway. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Giveaway.

11. Governing Law

The Giveaway and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. Winner’s List

To request the name of the winner, send a self-addressed stamped envelope after September 17, 2026 to: Carolina Rooted, Incense Sampler Giveaway Winner Request, Waxhaw, NC.

13. Meta Release

The Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta, Facebook, or Instagram. Entrants understand that they are providing their information to Carolina Rooted and not to Meta.
